Who we are

This website is run by R2 Relocate Ltd ("we", "us"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 14554182). Registered office: 4th Floor Auburn House, 42 Upper Piccadilly, Bradford, BD1 3NU. We are the controller of personal data collected through this site. You can contact us using the contact form or by post at our registered office.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect:

• your name, email address, company (if given) and message;
• your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with the submission to help prevent spam and abuse.

When you visit any page, our host Netlify automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, in server logs used to deliver and secure the site.

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

Plot Twist leaderboard

If you add your name to the Plot Twist leaderboard, we store the name you type, your score, how many streets you finished, your total time and when you added it. Your name, score and number of streets are shown publicly on this site. Use a nickname if you'd rather. To have an entry removed, ask us through the contact form.

To stop spam, each visitor can add one entry a minute. To check this we keep a scrambled one-way code made from your IP address (never the address itself). It is normally deleted after about a minute and never kept longer than an hour. Nothing else about you is saved, and the puzzle doesn't use cookies or local storage.

How we use it

We use these details to read and reply to your enquiry, to keep a record of our correspondence and, for IP addresses and user agents, to help prevent spam and abuse. Leaderboard entries are used only to show the leaderboard. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). The same legitimate interest covers the server logs needed to run and secure the site. We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them. For the leaderboard, our basis is your consent when you choose to add your name (Article 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove the entry. The anti-spam check relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the leaderboard usable.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and deliver messages:

• Netlify hosts the website, keeps server logs, processes form submissions and stores leaderboard entries.
• Plots & Leads delivers contact-form submissions to our Slack workspace.
• Slack is where we receive and keep contact-form submissions.
• Google Workspace provides our email.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a working relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations. We keep the 50 highest leaderboard scores (the top 10 are shown); lower entries are deleted automatically as higher ones come in. Otherwise an entry stays until you ask us to remove it or we reset the leaderboard.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use tracking or advertising scripts.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, erase or restrict it, to object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To make a request, use the contact form or write to us at our registered office.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
